Asmaul Husna are the most beautiful names of Allah. The following is an explanation of 3 of the 99 Asmaul Husna, Ya Allah Ya Rohman Ya Rohim Ya Malik :
1. Ar Rohman
الرَّحْمَنُ
Ar Rahman means Allah Subhanahu wa Taala has a very broad compassion, covering all His creatures. Allah loves all His creatures by providing various pleasures.
The name Ar Rahman is the same as the name of Allah, no creature can use it. And indeed no one can love all creatures like God. Believers or disbelievers, all get sustenance from Allah.
The arguments for the name Ar Rahman can be seen, among others, in Surah Thaha verse 5, Al Mulk verse 29, Ar Rahman verse 1, and Al Isra 'verse 110. Of course it is also at the beginning of the Koran namely basmalah.
2. Ar Rohim
الرَّحِيمُ
Ar Rahim is the name for the Essence of Allah and is also one of His attributes. If Ar Rahman is the most merciful to all creatures, Ar Rahim is the most merciful to His believing servants.
The name Ar Rahim is mentioned with the name Ar Rahman in four verses. Namely Al Fatihah verse 3, Al Baqarah verse 163, Fushilat verse 2, and Al Hasyr verse 22. While Ar Rahim with Allah and Ar Rahman is mentioned 114 times in the Mushaf namely Basmalah.
3. Al Malik
الْمَلِكُ
Al Malik means Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has power over everything, both in terms of ruling and forbidding. Al Malik also means to have something. Everything needs Allah while Allah does not need everything.
The proof of the name Al Malik can be seen in the Al-Quran surah Al Hasyr verse 23, Al Mukminun verse 116, and Ali Imran verse 26.
